Today Erika and I spent most of the day together because Peter was busy with various things to do and wasn't home. One of her favorite things to do right now is play with her Little People. And she has so many little "set-
up's" that it makes it a ton of fun for her. She even makes them talk to each other which I love to watch! I have been organizing and reorganizing all her toys and still need to do more! In the picture above Erika is ready to head out with me to run some weekend errands. Notice she has not one but TWO
paci's, a bag of snacks and a cup of juice. She was set for wherever I may drag her!

Last night her and I were at the card store and she was so funny. There was this man also looking at cards and she started introducing herself to him. "My name Erika...this Mommy." I was semi-embarrassed I guess just because I am a little shy but it was also so funny that it really made me laugh. I didn't want the guy to think this was some sort of pick up routine I taught her! She was such a handful trying to pick out cards. I almost couldn't think. And when I got home I was very surprised to find that I had all the right cards and no duplicates!

In the morning when Erika wakes up she usually stands in her crib and says "Oh Mommy...where are you....Mommy" And then when I go in her room I
usually ask her if she slept good. But lately when I go in there I don't have to ask her because she says "I sleep good." She makes me laugh. It feels like
everyday she says something or does something that Peter and I didn't expect her to say or do. Sometimes she also tells me "I wake up."

There she is indulging in a piece of
raisin bread on the way to the store. I thought that if she was well fed she would tolerate some shopping better. I needed to get a baby gift for a friend at work who is expecting in August. So we went to the Carters outlet by me. She started off okay and gave me about 5 minutes of hassle free shopping. But after that she was TERRIBLE. She was yelling
pretty loud from her stroller "I'm NOT happy Mommy...not happy." At first it was semi-funny but after the 20
th time and increasing volume...it was NOT funny and I was NOT happy! I felt like the mom with the unruly kid!

When we came home there was a surprise waiting for Erika! Grandma Vivienne gave Peter the table that Erika likes to sit at when she visits her. It is an Erika size table and she had her dinner on it tonight. Very Cute!
