Beautiful Day With My Baby

We started our morning with a walk on the beach. Erika and I were down there at 8:00 with the early morning fishermen! Erika loves the beach and all the rocks to toss in the water. We spent about an hour down there just walking and having some mommy/daughter time. I soaked it all up and can't wait to start all over again tomorrow! Man, I am getting spoiled having time with her every day. I honestly didn't fully know what I have been missing.On the same topic of not knowing what I have been missing...that's how I felt when we went to the beach this morning. I can't believe Peter and I live a block away from this BEAUTIFUL beach and never take advantage. It's so pretty and I really want to spend some more time down there.
When Erika and I were leaving the beach, she turned to the water and said "Bye water..see you later...I go home now." I really laughed out loud. So adorable.After we came home from the beach Erika cooled off with an ice pop and then took her morning nap. I have her on a 10 or 10:30 nap time and she usually sleeps till about 12 or 12:30. It works out perfect because then she is all rested up for the day.Then we went to the aquarium. We have a family pass for one year so we go for free. She was super excited and was very into the waterfalls that they have there. Unfortunately I missed a lot of great photo opportunities because i forgot my camera at home. So the picture above and the remaining pictures are from when we came home and she is exhausted. She is sitting/laying in my spot in our bed while I put laundry away.

One of the things we did at the aquarium was go to the Sea Lion Show. That was fun and again Erika made me laugh. She was watching how these two older boys reacted during the show and then she did the same. They kept saying "wow...wow." Then Erika said "wow...wow." Cracks me up!
