So today was the big Disney Store Halloween party. I really didn't know what to expect. I asked Lori to have Erika ready to go when I picked her up. I think I was home by about 3:45 and it had started at 3:30. I quickly got Erika into her
Nemo costume and rushed us out the door. I also quickly remembered why I do not make "timed plans" for after work. It is just so much stress and pressure on both of us.

She was very into it. Oh yeah and ironically, today she didn't take a nap. Lori said she put her in but she didn't sleep. So I wasn't really sure how she was going to behave but really she was pretty good. I think all the excitement kept her going. But getting her ready was a bit of an effort because she just wasn't moving at the pace that I needed her to.

We were in the car about two minutes and she tells me that she has to go potty. WHAT?? I had just put her on the potty. I offered her that I would turn around and go back home for the potty but she said she could hold it till we made it to the store. That's my girl! She has become pretty good at being able to hold it. I am very proud of her and her "potty skills."

Lately when I take her picture she has been acting
a bit weird and uncooperative. She either makes a very strange face or will look the other way. I am not too sure what that is all about but I can say that the pictures above and below are some interesting ones!

I kept telling Peter that I bet I will be the only one that shows up at this party. And who would go to a party at a store. WRONG. It was so crowded! I was shocked how many people were there with their kids dressed up and the gathering. I truly thought it would be a quiet scene.

They had a parade, games and a pumpkin sticker hunt. It was really cute and fun. Erika liked seeing all the costumes. Her
Nemo costume was a hit even though it isn't very original and we were in the store it came from. Everyone kept telling me how cute she looked. Oh and she was the only
Nemo surprisingly enough.

I liked watching her play Simon Says or actually it was Mickey says. She would do what the other kids did...
just a few seconds after they did it. So cute.

I think we may have stayed about and hour and then headed over to a different store to return a jacket i had bought her that has a hole in it. I am glad I went for Erika but I can say that it was a push to get there before it was almost over at 5:30. It was fun for her and truly that's what really counts.

And then we did stop for a short Taxi ride...no apple ride today. She did put her request in but I denied it!
