This afternoon Grandma and Grandpa came over to celebrate my birthday. We had plans awhile ago but then Erika was sick and I didn't want them to get sick. The way Erika's nose was running on Friday, I wasn't sure if we would be doing anything this weekend but it did seem to improve. Isn't that a great picture of Erika and her grandparents?
Erika was SO EXCITED when they pulled up in the driveway. "Daddy they are here....they are here!" That's what she was saying. I didn't tell her all day that they were coming because when I do that, then she never wants to take a nap in fear that she will miss them! Today the visit worked out perfect because they arrived about 5 minutes after she took a nice 2 1/2 hour nap. So she was all rested up and ready to play. She wanted to show them all her toys.
We had some yummy lunch together. Erika was really hungry
because she ate about 3 pieces of bologna and 1 piece of cheese in addition to some chips and cheese doodles too! She tried on her
Nemo costume for Grandma and Grandpa and so now there is a sneak preview picture below. That costume looks so cute on her! It will look even better after I get the black leggings and top to go under it.
She loves feeling the tail and
having the costume on. That's a bonus because sometimes you can buy the cutest costume but then if the kid doesn't feel comfortable in it, you have a disaster on your hands! Well she loves it. I hope I have the energy to bring her to that Disney Store party on Wednesday.
