Erika also got her very own laptop which does make Daddy a little jealous! This was another big hit for Erika. She likes the computer so I am not surprised that she loves this toy so much. It's also really cute and has a lot of different options on it. What more could a girl want in a laptop?
Look how into it she is and look how into Erika my mother is! Awwww...what an adorable photo. Not to mention I think my mother looks exactly like me in that picture.
While Erika took her nap, my mother and I had cookies, coffee and attempted to put the kitchen and doll cradle together. At least on the kitchen we made it to step 4 where as the cradle we didn't make it to putting any of it together! We get discouraged too easily when we see all the parts!
Thank goodness for Daddy who put the rest of the kitchen together when he came home from work. To say that Erika LOVES her new kitchen is not even a strong enough word! It is a huge hit! And it is adorable to see her standing there cooking.

It's very entertaining to me how being in a kitchen is fun at Erika's age but by my age I am already so done with being in the kitchen! I always remember my mother complaining that she never leaves the kitchen and as soon as she cleans it up it is dirty again and now that sounds like me...and some day that will be Erika!
Now tell me...who has it better than Erika? A laptop on one side and a new monkey from Grandma on the other. It was a great visit and I was sad to let my mother go. Wish she could have stayed all night!
