Oh my goodness...look at that sad angel! Erika did not enjoy the Christmas pageant at church today. I think the biggest problem was that she was up at 3:30...along with me and then she only slept a little again before we left for church. So bottom line she was really tired and just not in the mood for this angel stuff!
So instead she came and sat with Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Judy. She was very interested in all the decorations around the church. Most of the time, Peter held her and some of the time she sat on my lap. Basically she was well behaved and the Christmas pageant was AMAZING! I totally loved it. And at the end...they had a Christmas cake and the whole church sang "Happy Birthday To Jesus!" It was so touching that it gave me chills!
Her costume actually had a head piece too but Erika wouldn't allow me to put that on her head for anything. Miss. Kathy said it was okay that Erika wasn't an angel in the pageant this year (she is the youngest one there) and that next year she can try again. Next year she will be 2 1/2 and will be better at this type of stuff! Any way, I think she looked adorable in the outfit!
