It's Christmas Eve! Tonight is the big night when Santa will come and bring something fun for Erika. She is always such a good girl so I am sure that it will be something great! Today Erika wore her special Christmas dress from her other Grandma (Peters mother). The dress looks so adorable on her and I am hoping it might even fit next year!

When I sit Erika on the rocking chair in her room (my Christmas gift from my mother) Erika always says "cheese." She definitely relates that chair to getting her picture taken. Sometimes she even gets up there herself and then says "cheese." So then I have to go grab the camera quick and take a picture of her even if I wasn't planning on it!

Today for some crazy reason I went out in the mad rush for some last minute shopping...which I realize now that I didn't even have to do today. Man oh man was it crazy out! I won't do that again. To me people were acting as if the world were ending! I basically drove in circles and got nothing accomplished which will put me back out into the mad rush on Friday! Thank goodness Erika was home with her Daddy.

We are caring for Michelle's dog Riley while she and her family spend time in Chicago with her family. So today the three of us went over there for about two hours to keep Riley company. Michelle has an awesome house so we enjoyed ourselves. Erika is at home there since she spends every Wednesday there anyway! Kinda sad when we walk in because
Erika calls for "Belle" and then "Shell."
I just took a peek downstairs and since I am up so late I see that Santa already snuck in and out of our house! Have a look for yourself!!
WOW! Looks like Santa brought Erika a frog tent and three presents. Not only that but he seems to have had some fun setting up all Erika's animals inside the tent. She will be excited in the morning for sure!
That Santa...you never know what to expect out of him. I guess he thought Erika needed a frog tent in our living room! Ha! I love it.

Erika is one lucky girl! By the way, we planned on going to church but all three of us have some pretty nasty colds so we decided to skip it this year. Merry Christmas.
