Saturday Fun With Baby Erika

I enjoyed being with Erika so much today. She was such a good girl and kept a great schedule. 2 naps and off to bed by 7:00. I am so happy to be off with her all week. Today she kept telling me that she has NOTHING to wear (typical girl). So I had to go through her closet, clean it and organize it. Of course, Erika was right in there helping me. We found some summer clothing that will never fit her because she is so big already! Most of her clothing is size 18 months even though she is only 8 months old!! We spent a good part of the day cleaning her closet. In the pictures above and below, Erika and Mommy were heading out to mail a package to our friend Damiane'. The weather was so nice today so Erika only needed a light jacket. Both of our colds are mostly better but not completely. I am sure next it will be Daddy's turn to get the cold.
Our contractor spent the entire day here today working and working on our kitchen. Tomorrow the crew will be back here again to keep going at it. The ceramic tiles are all down in the kitchen and dining room and will be grouted tomorrow. In the pictures below, you can see an oak paneling that is new. It looks great. We have ordered black appliances and a black granite counter top with silver and bronze speckles in it. Erika and I are getting so excited about our kitchen!!

Erika on top of almost where the dishwasher will go! Don't worry about safety, Daddy was standing right there to catch her...that's who she is looking at.
The video below is Erika making her kissing noise. I would love to take credit for it...BUT when I asked Maureen (the woman who cares for Erika) about it, she confessed to me that her 7th grade son Timmy taught Erika how to do that. It doesn't matter to me...it still is very cute!






And here is Erika's nice neat closet. There are a few shirts missing that were still in the dryer when I took the picture. I think Erika was a little off when she told me she had NOTHING to wear! She was just trying to get me to take her shopping!!
