I was the one who was complaining that it never gets cold enough for me to use Erika's snowsuit...well guess what?? IT IS COLD ENOUGH!!! Yesterday on the way to work it was 11 degrees and today it warmed up to 22 degrees on the way to work. Meanwhile it was snowing and raining ice on the way home from work and it took me over 3 hours to get home. I have never seen so many accidents in a row in my entire life. I counted and there were 23 accidents and three roads closed down. It was crazy.Erika is sick and so am I. I really am looking forward to being off from work next week. The kitchen is coming along but I am already going crazy! Below is a picture this morning right before Erika and I left for work. In the back you can see the cabinets.
The biggest news that I have to report is that Erika now likes her bath tub duck! She has been forced to adjust because the kitchen sink and white infant tub are not even an option right now. Last night when Peter and I put her in, we kept cheering her on and it worked. Peter says that it is all in the "presentation!" Tonight I gave her a bath again and she was fine. She still is a little nervous but mostly good. I am so proud of how brave she was. On Sunday night, I could feel her little heart beating so fast because she was so nervous. The picture below is the proof that Erika now loves her bath tub duck! Yippeee!!!

This last picture I took of Erika last night while I was feeding her. To me it shows how she smiles for the camera because all I was doing was holding out my arm to take the picture and she smiled!! Too funny.

Glad the kitchen is coming along. You look really nice. I am so happy you finally got to use that snowsuite you were talking about. Yeah for Erika liking her ducky bathtub! Change is good, sometimes! Sorry you are sick but like you said, you have next week off to recover. Wish you were here!
