Merry Christmas!

Before Erika went to sleep on Christmas Eve, Peter and I told her how Santa was going to come and leave some presents under the tree for her. But by Christmas morning, we think she had already forgotten.
She woke up around 7:15 which seems to be her normal time to wake up these days. Both of us went in her room and got her. Then when we came downstairs, she was AMAZED! She just stared and said "look... presents." One would think she would have run over to start ripping the paper off. But not Erika, she went over to the pile and just stood there staring at them...speechless. It was so adorable.
I think she was only half awake most of the time that she was opening the presents, but I know she enjoyed it. Bob was right there with her the whole time. At one point, she turned to Bob and said "Bob, this is not your party." Peter and I were laughing at that one!
She looks kinda grouchy in the pictures but she really wasn't. These are her "natural" shots and truly what she looks like when she first wakes up. It was such a nice morning. One I will remember in my heart always. She was so calm and such a good girl.
Look at the pleasure on her face in the picture above when she opened her Alvin and The Chipmunks stuffed animals. Santa seems to really know her well because she was quite pleased with everything that he brought her.
"Look Mommy...it's Simon and Alvin!"
She got two different Play-Doh sets which is one of her favorite things to do.

In the picture above she is checking out her new electronic device! Santa brought her a kid tough digital photo frame...and it was already stacked with pictures of Erika and her family! He really is magic!
Some Dora domino's. These were a hit because Erika loves to line things up. So she takes the domino's and lines them up!

But these Lego's - they seem to be the favorite! She plays with them non-stop!
All done opening presents and now it is time to play!

Testing out the new double stroller that Santa brought! That thing is tough to maneuver!
And last but not least, modeling the new outfit that Sharon sent her for Christmas.
