Rough day for pictures of Erika but a nice day for Erika to see her relatives. She was very busy today. We started the day by getting all dressed up in her new dress from her Oma (Peter's mother). The dress looked adorable and next time she wears it I have to get some better pictures of her in it. She was not too cooperative today when I tried. The two pictures I am posting are the best of about eight! After getting all dressed up we went over Aunt Margaret and Uncle Steve's house. They had some very thoughtful and caring gifts for her. It melts my heart when I see how many people care about her so much. She got building blocks, dinosaurs, an airplane village, a cd with her name in all the songs, a frog shirt, books and more! She LOVES everything and so do daddy and I! It was so nice to see Aunt Margaret and Uncle Steve sit on the floor with Erika and play. She loves them. She also had fun playing with Uncle Steve's train set that he has set up under the tree.
After that we went for a visit with Aunt Peggie and Uncle Joe. Erika had a great time with them too (although I don't have the pictures to prove it). I am disappointed that i didn't get any pictures. At one point when we were eating I rummaged through my pocketbook to get out my camera only to discover that I had left it in the car. Anyway, we had great snacks and play time when we first got there. Aunt Peggie has a wide variety of musical Christmas decorations and she was more than generous in letting Erika play with them. Erika loved dancing to all the Christmas tunes that the decorations played. She loves being silly with Uncle Joe too. Both of them gave Erika a very nice Christmas gift for her bank account too. Then we went for a very tasty steak dinner. It was GOOD! Erika danced at the restaurant too. She is a dancer. After that we really had to get going as Erika had not napped all day. She did great though. It was really nice day of seeing everyone!
