Today we went for a Christmas visit with Grandma and Grandpa. First we met at their house and then we all went out to breakfast. Erika loves going over there because she loves to play ball with Grandpa. Before we go there she always tells me "Mommy i want to play ball with Grandpa." It's cute. So as soon as we walked in the door that was exactly what she told Grandpa that she wanted to do.
After breakfast we came back to the house and exchanged presents. Erika was very pleased with her gifts. And Mommy was very pleased with her cute clothing that she got! She particularly loves these magnetic dress-up dolls that they gave her. I knew she would like them because she has one at home and plays with it often. She also got a new train for her train collection. She got "Rosie" which is the girl train. It's pink and very cute.
Not only did Erika open her own gifts but she opened everyone
else's too! She was having herself a great time.
When it was time to leave later in the afternoon, Erika did not want to go. She told us that she wanted to stay there. That's always a great compliment when Erika wants to stay at the house of whoever we were visiting. But is was getting late and we had to get home.
In the picture above, Erika is handing Mommy her new comfy outfit which I happen to love! It looks like something i would have picked out myself. Great job Grandma!

I know I say it all the time but I really...really....REALLY love this kid!!!
